I wanted to post this image between Christmas and New year, but I didn't have the time to finish it until yesterday. So here you have it, a little late, but better late than never. HAPPY 2011 !

I made an update of the new Virgin X Short Comic on my site.

I did a very small update in my site. I posted the end of the KARMA short comic and one miscellaneous.

I made an update in my site and  started the VIRGIN X short comics (at last). Here is page 4 of VX current comic...Cheers!

Soon, I'll be starting a new area in my site, that's called "Virgin X short comics & other shames". These are comics of no more than 7 pages long and I'm not sure yet, but I would like to paint them in a different way from the previous VX comics.
In the sample I'm posting I put the same Virgin X panel Twice. The first one, painted in the usual way, and the second one painted with flat colours. Please, comment if you lke it or if you don't.

Well, my site is back.
I'm coloring the first four pages of the new VIRGIN X' comics, and I say comics, because I'll start posting soon several VX short comics I had in storage.

I don't know why but my site is down,I'm trying to contact the hosting, but they don't answer me!...I'll keep trying.
Last time this happen it did`t last long, three or four days. I hope I can fix this problem soon and have my website back.

My country, Chile, suffered a big earthquake and a tsunami last week, 8.9 in the Righter scale.
I can tell you that there has been only 4 earthquakes stronger than this one in human's modern history. Fortunately Santiago, the city
where I live, is really well builded, but the damages were very serious for other cities. We did't have electricity for a couple of days. and of course internet went down. fortunately since wensday things are getting back to be rather normal again.

I would like to do some commissions. I really don't know if someone will be interested, but I enjoyed doing Miss Boudart picture. So if anyone want to commission me, please be my guest.
I've been looking how much other artist charge and I think that for a piece like VIRGIN X Christmas card, for example, that's it two figures in colour, could be arround $40 or $50. Is that fair enough?
In the meantime here you have another VIRGIN X called "THE EVENING AFTER" that I'll post in my site www.modulok-0.com in my next update.

Last Sunday we finished the two conventions. The first one took 17 days. The second one only four. The first one was really good. The second one was awful. Fortunately, the big one, the important one, was the first one. Also, my site is up again and I made a little update yesterday, so I hope you enjoy it. Now I'll post one of the pictures of the Virgin X exhibit (the good one) in the Visuales stand, just because I want to share a happy moment I had with people that like my work. I'm also posting the first panel of VX current comic, page 20.  

Yes, my site is down!...I´m not going to bore you with details, but I had some problems with my hosting (bla,bla,bla).They say it will be up soon...We´ll see what happens.

It has been a long time since the last time I posted something here in
DA (almost two months), but I've been a little bit overcome by work,
doing new material for the museums(again)and also, preparing all the stuff of the VISUALES'stands for the "29th INTERNATIONAL BOOK
CONVENTION OF SANTIAGO",that starts next friday,and for the "EXPO-COMIC and MULTIMEDIA 2009" That starts during november.
Anyway, I'll try to finish the new VIRGIN X pages during the week and probably I'll be able to update my site www.modulok-0.com next week end, if not, during the week. In the mean time, here you have the VX poster that I made for the VISUALES' stand.

Finally I finished with the illustrations I was doing for the museums...I'm tired. I would have wanted to update my site www.modulok-0.com this week end but it was impossible. luckily I'll update it next sunday, if not, the next one.But in the meantime, here you have a single image of VIRGIN X called MIND TORMENT. During the second semester of 2008 I was commissioned to make, more or less, 200 illustrations for 8 local museums. I ejoyed it, but that was one of the reasons why I didn't update my site last year(except in  the festivities). The "problem" is, that few weeks ago in the last revision of those pieces, some of them weren't accepted so I've been
doing them again. Anyway, I made a really small update in my page www.modulok-0.com for VIRGIN X' 2009 comic (Better little than nothing)...And as I said once, VX and MODULOK-0 will continue growing, eventhough, it's little by little.

Finally, VIRGIN X volumen 1 is printed and soon it will be out in the stands! First in Chile and then in Argentina, Mexico and Spain. I also updated my site with a new vx comic www.modulok-0.com. So, I hope you enjoy what I have done so far.

And for the ones that still don't know:
Virgin X was born as such at the beginning of 2005. By that time, I had just finished a second animated short movie of my character La Muñeca, a sleepy super heroine in distress, but without the adult content. You can watch the trailer in Youtube ([link]).
The new born Virgin X was the result of the comic and animation above mentioned which I adapted for a more specific web audience. During 2005 I wrote a mail to Míster X, one of the pioneers of comics about distressed superheroines for the web. I included a couple of drawings of Virgin X in that mail, and he encouraged me to keep on going. Since then, till the end of 2007, Virgin X's universe developed, because I was able to keep my web page regularly updated([link]), but in the year 2008 it was almost impossible to continue this work, because most of the year I was dedicated full time to other activities. In the middle of last year, a very important Chilean editor, proposed me to make a series of Virgin X books, so we started working and now the first one is finally printing.
BTW I posted again the page that was taken away some weeks ago when devianART suspended me. Now I took away the elements that I think were considered as offenssive. For me it's important to have this image in the gallery, because it contains some of Virgin X background. I guess and I hope this time there won't be any problems.
